Aaniin, Hello! My name is Emma Lynds (she/her), I’m in my fourth year in Indigenous Environmental Sciences here at Trent. I am of mixed Indigenous ancestry, my family being from Oka Quebec on my mom’s side and Irish on my dad’s side. I grew up in the Niagara region, along the shores of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, and have been in Nogojiwanong/Peterborough for four years now. I have worked with Actua as an Outreach Instructor, traveling up north to Nunavut and Northwest Territories to delivery STEM programing, and I am beyond thrilled to be able to continue delivering STEM with TRACKS, just a little closer to home! Miigwech!
