Oshkwazin Student Ambassador (OSA)
Are you an Indigenous high schooler (age 14-18) living in (or near) Nogojiwanong?
Do you want to get involved in your community and grow your cultural and leadership skills?
Volunteer term: Up to 10 hours* per month, from October to June.
*This is dependent on availability and commitment level. OSA's may receive an honorarium, volunteer hours, or both. We understand that different students can have varying levels of availability, and we are open to different levels of commitment.
Position Details:
This position is part of our Oshkwazin Connections program.
Becoming an Oshkwazin Student Ambassador (OSA) allows Indigenous youth to become a leader at Oshkwazin Connections Monthly Gatherings and within their own community.
We are looking for a team of Indigenous youth to assist with the development and facilitation of Oshkwazin Connections events through creating and facilitating mini-workshops.
An Oshkwazin Student Ambassador would represent TRACKS within their school and promote Oshkwazin Connections events, and be mentored and supported to plan programming that aligns with TRACKS' mission.
