Boozhoo, aanii gakina gwiya,

Greetings everyone,

Niin Sarah indizhinikaaz. Ingichinendam TRACKS Manager of Programs wii-aawiyaanh.

My name is Sarah. I am happy to be the TRACKS Manager of Programs.

Gichi-apiitendaagwad Anishinaabe aadiziwin miinawaa gekendamang akiing.

I am related to the Bear on my mother’s side and I also belong to Clan MacLeod. I am from Alderville First Nation, and grew up there, but now live in Lakefield with my family. I have worked in Indigenous education and language revitalization ever since I graduated from postsecondary. Cultural land-based and environmental education is so important for restoring and maintaining the health of our communities. It is an honour to support the sharing of knowledge of the land in any way I can. I also look forward to seeing youth and staff learn and grow as they engage with the work of TRACKS.

Miigwech! Begish wayiiba giga-waabaminim.

Thank you and I hope to see you soon.
