Benishii

  Aanii, boozhoo. Benishii adizhinkaaz. Scugog Island ndoonjiba, nogojiwanong mewga dooda. Miingan ndodem. 

Hi! My name is Benishii Tryon. I am an Annishinaabe from Scugog Island and I now live in Peterborough. I am of the wolf clan. I use she/her pronouns. I am Ojibwe and Cree. I like being outdoors, learning more about my culture and the land we live on today. This is my first year as a TRAILBLAZER and I am very excited for this summer! 

 Working at TRACKS to me means gaining knowledge about Western and Indigenous science and also better ways to live/understand Indigenous ways. I am excited to share my knowledge that I have already from school, Elders and people around me.
