Abbey McIntyre
Camp Programs Instructor

Aaniin,

My name is Abbey (she/her) and I am one of the Summer Camp Programs Instructors this summer for TRACKS! I am originally from Barrie and am of settler-colonial ancestry but I now live in Nogojiwanong | Peterborough to go to Trent University for the Gender and Social Justice co-op program.

Working with TRACKS is exactly the kind of work I want to do to express my gratitude for the caretakers of this land and the knowledges from Indigenous peoples of this territory.

Also, in my spare time I am usually going on long walks, playing ultimate frisbee on the field, listening to music, or simply just enjoying the outdoors! I believe that through youth programming as well as getting to connect with the land and its relations is essential and can be transformative for the future!

Chi-miigwech!
