This year, for Science Odyssey Week, we have created an asynchronous learning opportunity for youth to learn about the water cycle -- check it out below!
Hang out with Jazzmin Foster as she guides us through the water cycle from Algonquin-Anishinaabe and Western Science perspectives. Learn about how components of the water cycle like evaporation, precipitation and transpiration interact with Indigenous understandings of these processes. This video includes a corresponding worksheet to take the learning further!
You can fill out the worksheet as you watch the video and write the appropriate words in each section of the water cycle drawing. Bonus extension, colour in your water cycle worksheet once you’re done!
This learning is made possible though Science Odyssey funding through NSERC & the Government of Canada. Miigwech!
