TRACKS Tipi at Camp Kawartha Environment Centre and Trent University's Gathering Space
*We also utilize the nature areas/trails surrounding the tipi, and some indoor/outdoor spaces on Trent University's East Bank
BIPOC youth ages 6-12
*Our Makwa camp is open to all BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Colour) youth. This camp is designed as an affinity space for BIPOC youth, where campers can connect with each other while exploring STEM and the outdoors. Affinity spaces like this are important because they offer young people a chance to learn, play, and build community in an environment that centers their identities and lived experiences. While this camp prioritizes registration for BIPOC youth, TRACKS will also be offering other camps throughout the year that are open to all youth.
Sliding scale between $105 ($21/day) and $525 ($105/day).
This camp day is priced on a sliding scale between $21 and $105 per camper per day to ensure financial accessibility. We hope that this will be accessible for most, but please indicate in the registration form if this baseline price is limiting and we will be able to provide a full subsidy (this requires a separate Subsidy Application Form).
TRACKS is proud to offer accessible camps to families in Nogojiwanong and nearby communities. We are happy to continue to offer a sliding scale for our camp programs depending on your family’s situation. At the same time, we ask that you honour this pay scale by paying as much as your circumstances allow, as fees help support our programming.
