This Winter/Spring semester, TRACKS has hired three new, fantastic staff to take on various projects. The first of these staff is Shaelyn Wabegijig. Read her bio below!


Shaelyn Wabegijig


Shaelyn Wabegijig grew up in Rama First Nation, and her people are Algonquin from Timiskaming First Nation. She is Caribou Clan and resides in Nogojiwanong (Peterborough). She completed her undergraduate degree from Trent in Indigenous Studies and Philosophy. She is on the Kawartha World Issues Centre (KWIC) board of directors and an advocate for Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs). She is honoured to be the Project Lead for the 10 Years of TRACKS Project!
