Ziigwan LaPointe

Aaniin! My name is Shki-Ziigwan and I’m coming back this summer again as an Educational Instructor. I had so much fun last year that I had to do it over again. I’m Anishinaabe from up in Ardoch Algonquin First Nation but I’m in Peterborough for the summer. 

Teaching and learning Indigenous knowledge has always been very important to me and I’m very grateful that I’m able to do it while also combining it with a focus on science which I am also very interested in. I hope this year to learn even more while working on the TRACKS team.
