Montserrat Escobedo

Hello. Anniin. Hola.  My name is Mon Escobedo (she/her), and I am a Latina woman from Mexico. I love being in nature, and I believe we feel better emotionally, physically, and spiritually when we connect with the outdoors. My interest in the environment led me to study environmental engineering and to currently pursue a Master’s degree in Sustainability Studies.

I am also really curious about how to braid different knowledge systems together, especially in STEM. This resulted in a summer position in TRACKS Youth Program, where I’m working as a program evaluation intern.
