Minowe Simpson

Aaniin Minowewebeneshiinh ndizhinakaaz. Alderville First Nation ndoonjibaa. Peterborough megwa doodaa. Waawaashekesh ndoodem. My name is Minowe Simpson (She/Her). I am Anishinaabe from Alderville First Nation and a part of the deer clan. I love spending time on the land in my free time. I love to read, bike, paint, and explore different artistic mediums. 

I am a part of the Oshkwazin summer trailblazers here at TRACKS. I love how TRACKS combines scientific and Indigenous knowledge together into one. I am most excited to work and learn from elders, knowledge keepers, and other Indigenous youth in the community.
