TRACKS Oshkwazin has planned a full day of learning from knowledge holders about environmental youth leadership, TEK and more for Indigenous youth in Peterborough and surrounding area. In addition, we have a very exciting opportunity to showcase Biidaabin: First Light an Indigenous-focused VR experience which will be hosted by TRACKS in the Nozhem First People’s Performance Space from November 6th through November 9th.

An interactive VR project that utilizes Indigenous languages and worldviews to help people understand, as well as literally feel and experience, what Indigenous ways of being and knowing have to teach us about the world and our place in it.
Accompanied by a discussion facilitated by TRACKS on the importance of Indigenous worldviews in environmental stewardship and leadership.
